The Pond 28 is a small, flat-suction submersible pump. Due to its small size and the ability to pump with a minimum water level, this pump is ideal for pumping away puddles. Such a pump is also called a roofers pump because they are often used by roofers to pump flat roofs dry. Of course, this pump can also be used for other purposes, such as pumping away a small layer of water in a basement.
The Pond 28 can pump a well or a cellar dry, so that no more than a few millimetres of water remain. If necessary, the remaining water can be removed with a mop. The pump has a diameter of 14,5 centimetres, is 15,5 centimetres and weighs only 1.5 kilograms. This makes the pump easy to store and carry.
